Cookie policy
Awrora is operated by UL CORP LTD. English is the controlling language of these documents.
This Cookie Policy explains how UL CORP LTD uses cookies and similar technologies on Awrora (awrora.net and related app domains). It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use local storage and similar technologies for the same purposes described below.
2. Essential cookies (always on)
These are required for the Service to function. They cannot be switched off in-product.
- Session / authentication — keeps you signed in to your workspace (for example the
aurora_sessioncookie). - Security — supports CSRF protection, rate limiting context, and abuse prevention where applicable.
- Preferences — remembers locale, theme, text size, active property, and similar UI settings so the product works as you left it.
- Cookie choice — stores whether you allowed optional analytics (local storage key used by the cookie banner).
3. Optional analytics
If you choose “Allow analytics” on the cookie banner, we may load privacy-oriented analytics (for example Plausible) when an analytics domain is configured for the deployment. Analytics help us understand aggregate traffic on public pages. They are not used to serve third-party ads.
If you choose “Essential only”, the product still works; optional analytics scripts are not loaded.
4. How to change your choice
- Clear site data / cookies for awrora.net in your browser, then reload a public page to see the banner again.
- You can also use browser controls to block cookies; blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in.
5. Third parties
Payment, OTA, messaging, or identity tools you open inside or alongside Awrora may set their own cookies under their policies. Google sign-in, when used, is governed by Google’s terms and privacy policy.
6. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change technologies. The “Last updated” date at the top will change.
